Terms of service

The agreement between CruitUp and the companies that use it to hire.

Version 1.0Updated 16 October 2026
Section 01

Scope

These terms govern the use of CruitUp by companies and their authorised users ("Customer", "you"). CruitUp is operated by [Company legal name], [Registered office address] ("CruitUp", "we").

CruitUp is offered to businesses only. By creating an account you confirm that you act on behalf of a company and are authorised to accept these terms for it. Your own terms and conditions do not apply, even if you refer to them.

Section 02

Services

CruitUp lets you:

  • create job ads and publish them on a public page hosted by CruitUp;
  • collect and manage applications in a simple applicant board;
  • buy recruitment advertising campaigns that we design, launch and run on channels such as Meta (Facebook and Instagram), LinkedIn, TikTok and Google.

We may improve and change features over time. We will not remove a core feature you have paid for during a running billing period.

Section 03

Account and registration

You must give accurate registration details and keep your login credentials secret. You are responsible for everything done through your account and for the users you invite. Tell us immediately at the support address if you suspect unauthorised access.

Section 04

Plans and campaigns

Free plan. The Free plan has no limits on the number of job ads, applicants or users and has no time limit. It is subject to fair use: you may use it for your own company's recruiting, but not to resell access, send spam or overload the service. If your use clearly goes beyond that, we will contact you before taking any action.

Pro plan. Once available, Pro will add extra features for a monthly fee per company, as shown on our pricing page at the time of purchase. You will be able to cancel Pro at the end of any billing month and keep using the Free plan.

Campaigns. Campaign packages are priced per channel and duration. A campaign starts once payment is received and the advertising platform has approved the ad, which usually takes a few days.

No guaranteed results. Figures such as "average expected clicks" are estimates based on past campaigns. Reach, clicks and applications depend on the role, location, salary and platform algorithms, so we do not guarantee a specific number of candidates or a hire.

Section 05

Prices and payment

Prices are in the currency shown at checkout and exclude VAT, which is added where applicable. Campaigns are paid in advance; monthly fees are billed in advance for each month. Invoices are issued electronically.

You can cancel a campaign free of charge until it goes live and receive a full refund. Once a campaign is live, its price is not refundable, because the budget is committed to the advertising platform.

If a payment fails, we may pause paid features until it is settled.

Section 06

Our rights and obligations

We provide the service with reasonable skill and care and aim for high availability, but maintenance and events outside our control can cause interruptions. We plan maintenance outside peak hours where possible.

We may refuse or stop a job ad or campaign that breaks these terms, the law or an advertising platform's policies, and we will tell you why.

Section 07

Your rights and obligations

You are responsible for the content of your job ads and for how you use candidate data. In particular, your job ads must:

  • describe real, open positions with accurate information about pay, location and working conditions;
  • not discriminate on grounds such as sex, age, ethnicity, religion, disability or sexual orientation, and comply with employment and anti-discrimination law;
  • comply with the advertising policies of the platforms where they run, including rules for employment ads;
  • not infringe anyone else's rights, such as copyright or trademarks.

You must not use CruitUp to send spam, collect data for purposes other than recruiting, or attempt to access other customers' data.

Section 08

Term, termination and account deletion

These terms apply while you have an account. You can delete your account at any time in the settings or by writing to support. A paid monthly plan ends at the end of the current billing month; campaigns already live run until their scheduled end.

We may end the agreement with 30 days' notice, or immediately for a serious breach, such as repeated policy violations or non-payment. After deletion we remove your data as described in our Privacy policy and the DPA.

Section 09

Intellectual property

CruitUp, its software, design and brand belong to us. You get a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for your own recruiting while the agreement lasts.

You keep all rights to your content. You grant us the rights needed to host your job ads, adapt them into ad creatives, and publish them on the channels you select.

Section 10

Confidentiality and data protection

Both sides keep the other's confidential information secret and use it only for this agreement. For candidate data, you are the controller and we are your processor; our Data processing agreement forms part of these terms. Our Privacy policy explains how we handle data as a controller.

Section 11

Liability

We are fully liable for damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence, and for injury to life, body or health.

In other cases, our total liability per calendar year is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for lost profits, lost hires or indirect damage, or for the actions and outages of advertising platforms.

You indemnify us against third-party claims arising from your job ad content or your use of candidate data in breach of the law.

Section 12

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will email you about changes at least 30 days before they take effect. If you do not agree, you can delete your account before that date; if you keep using CruitUp, the new terms apply.

Section 13

Miscellaneous

  • These terms are governed by the laws of [country of incorporation], excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods.
  • The courts of [city of the competent court] have exclusive jurisdiction, as far as the law allows.
  • If a provision is invalid, the rest of the terms remain in force.
  • Notices may be given by email to the addresses in your account and in our Imprint.
